Special Bodies

Special bodies are bodies made to order according to their specifications. These include bodies mounted on trailer chassis to be used as mobile vending stands, multi-purpose bodies with a side access (sliding door in one or both sides) suitable for distribution of beverages, transportation of animals or transportation of one-day-old chickens, etc.

Tractor - Trailer Unit Bodies

The skeleton of both a body and a trailer is made of thin-walled aluminium profiles, their floor grillages are covered with waterproof plywood, their skin is made of GRP or aluminium acrylic sheet, their inside walls are either uncovered or covered, their ceilings are made of GRP. In the rear body as well as trailer panels there are two-wing doors with an external bar lock in each wing. The rear door-frame is made of steel and is paint finished or stainless steel. Both trailer and body have a tandem axle and are fitted with side-marker lights with reflectors in accordance with the Highway Code.

Bodies Designed for Transportation of Beverages

The body has a steel grillage floor covered with waterproof cast surfaced plywood, it is all-aluminium, both its left and right sides are divided into a bottom and top drop-sides made of sectional aluminium profiles. The bottom one tilts towards the ground, the top one tilts towards the roof. There is a two-wing door in the rear panel with zinc plated or stainless steel hinges and bar locks. The body is fitted with side-marker lights as well as reflectors in accordance with the Highway Code.

Bodies Designed for Transportation of Chickens

The body has a steel grillage floor covered with waterproof cast surfaced plywood, there is no insulation. In the floor there are air channels providing distribution of air, the ceiling and walls are made of panels of insulation material and two-sided GRP skin. The body is assembled of panels joined by special plastic strips. The front panel is reinforced by a steel structure that holds an air-conditioning unit, in the left and right panels there are air vents and a one-wing door, in the rear panel there is a two-wing door with an external bar lock and a stainless steel frame. The body is fitted with a lifting platform. The hinges and the bar lock are zinc-plated or stainless steel, the body is fitted with side-marker lights as well as reflectors in accordance with the Highway Code.

Vending Mobile Stand Designed for Sales of Grilled Chickens

This body has been designed to be mounted onto chassis of N1 category commercial vehicles. It is a box body composed of sandwich panels whose both sides are GRP clad, its ceiling is insulated and GRP clad, its floor is a welded grillage covered with waterproof plywood whose surface is made of cast smooth resin. In the right side there is a hatch window fitted on gas pressure springs with a pull-out display counter with glass front panels, and a hinged shelf grid that serves to the customers as a shelf to put their bags on while being served. In the rear panel there is a one-wing door with FAB locking system. Inside the box body there is a hygienic unit with an electric storage boiler tank with a battery, a stainless steel sink, and a water plastic washbasin. Waste water is drained into a waste water container placed below the sink, there is a PB gas cylinder below the sink, the contents of which are used for grilling. The water distribution system has been designed to be connected to an external water supply, there is also a wardrobe, and the whole interior is furnished with easily assessible items. There is also a 220 V powered 210 l freezer, and a refrigerator with an adapter for 12V, and a gas fired grill with two skewers for up to twelve chickens, and there are two vapour exhausters. Space between the refrigerator and grill is filled with a work top, below the grill there is a set of shelves and a lockable drawer made of the same material as the whole hygienic unit, three built-in fluorescent lamps provide good-quality lighting of the space; its electricity system has been designed to be connected to an external power supply or to a stand-by power supply which is a two-stroke power supply unit of a maximum output of 2kW located at the rear part with an external access and control. All materials used in the box body as well as its interior are certified harmless hygienic materials. The manufacturer shall provide an Inspection Report of the Electric System and Installation and a Certificate of Approval issued by the OHS (District Department of Hygiene).
